ARNEIS project journal - dev-cw17

As I announced in a previous post

During the OpenCV Weekly Webinar Ep. 54 we learned that our team was selected as a Top 10 Finalist of the OpenCV Spatial AI Contest sponsored by Intel and Microsoft.

It is already a great honor to have gone so far, and especially sharing this achievement together with such outstanding teams!

However, the competition is not yet over, since the committee announced that a special prize will be awarded to the team who will receive most votes in a public poll on the internet.

Here is the report of our progress in the ARNEIS project after the end of CW17-2022.

What did we accomplish this week?

In Sprint dev-cw17 we closed 7 issues or Pull Requests.

Let's now dig into some of the major results we achieved during last week.

We have a new contributor to ARNEIS

Let us welcome Marco Maruffi who successfully managed to have his first Pull Request accepted and merged in the ARNEIS codebase!

This is why we are now making a public call to all our friends and supporters:

Getting started with Foundries.io

We have started learning how to deploy containerized application on the Edge using FoundriesFactory. FoundriesFactor is a managed service which makes it easier to build, deploy and maintain embedded Linux distribution for several embedded devices, including the Raspberry Pi and the Arduino Portenta X8.

For further details please refer to the dedicated HOWTO.
